• Sun loungers and rooftop pool at Soho House Amsterdam

Soho House is a group of private members’ clubs for people working in creative industries. We have Houses across the world including in London, New York, Berlin, Barcelona and Miami; Amsterdam will be our 21st and there are more in the works.

Soho House Amsterdam occupies the iconic Bungehuis building on the Singel canal, which was built in the 1930s as a trading office before becoming a university building in the 1970s. The six-storey building is characterised by architectural details including a limestone and granite-clad façade, Art Deco lighting flanking the entrance and bronze-framed bay windows.

We offer four types of membership at Soho House Amsterdam:
Local House, Every House, Under 27 Local House and Under 27 Every House.

Local House membership gives you access to all the Amsterdam club’s spaces and facilities – including bars and restaurants, pool, gym and screening room – member events and fitness classes.

Every House membership provides access to all Soho Houses worldwide – with the exception of Little Beach House Malibu, which has a standalone local membership. They provide a home away from home in many of the world’s creative neighbourhoods including London’s Shoreditch and New York’s Meatpacking District.

A space for meeting, eating and drinking, the main club space overlooks the canal and is decorated with bold fabrics, geometric rugs and a blend of antique furniture mixed with custom-made pieces. There’s an open fire and an adjacent Library, which has its own bar and workspace.

House Kitchen faces the street side and serves food and drinks all day, with an open kitchen and deli counter.

Located on the same floor, Canal Room has a DJ booth and stage, creating a ‘club within a club’ for performances and members’ events on evenings and weekends.

Serving hand-made pasta, seafood and dishes from northern Italy, the dining area overlooks the canal. Originating in Venice, Cecconi’s Amsterdam joins sister restaurants in London, New York, Miami, West Hollywood, Istanbul, Barcelona and Berlin.

The rooftop has a swimming pool and bar overlooking the city, with a geometric-pattern tiled floor, sun loungers and parasols, a small BBQ area and chairs and tables for eating and drinking.

House Gym looks out over the canal and has state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, HIIT and yoga studios. Ceilings are painted in a high gloss canal green, mirroring the view outside. The changing rooms feature marble mosaic showers and steam and sauna rooms.

Inspired by our Electric Cinema in London, it has velvet armchairs and vintage lamps on individual side tables and its own prescreening serving snacks and drinks. It offers member preview screenings and is also available for private hire.

Soho House Amsterdam will host a monthly programme of events for members and their guests, covering fashion, music, art, design, tech, food, literature and wellness. It will include DJ performances, gigs, movie screenings, talks and workshops.

There are 79 bedrooms, ranging from Tiny to Extra-Large, some with views of the canal. Each bedroom combines custom-made furniture with antique pieces. The bed throws and fabrics are inspired by the original stained glass windows in the Bungehuis building.

The first floor bedrooms are mostly Monumental Rooms, which retain the 1930s timber panelling, stained-glass windows and Art Deco sculptures. The larger bedrooms have pod bathrooms and freestanding copper bathtubs.

Inspired by our original Cowshed Spa at Babington House in Somerset, it offers a full range of treatments from manicures and pedicures to facials and body massages. Located on the ground floor and open to everyone, it has six treatment rooms and four treatment chairs.

Our community of creative influencers, thought leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs that form the Soho House membership base is a diverse, international group that thrives on a growing network of hubs in which to connect, collaborate and relax.

From fashion designers in London to filmmakers in Los Angeles, branding executives in New York to art curators in Berlin, it’s a global society that encompasses every creative industry.

Soho House members make the most of our community, using the Houses to network and socialise with like-minded people. Each new club enriches our culture further, and integrating people from Amsterdam’s renowned fashion, design, film, art and media sectors will add an exciting new dimension to the Soho House community.
